1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the website www.dailybreach.in and any content, features or services made available on or through it. In these Terms and Conditions, the website and related services are together referred to as “Daily Breach”. By using Daily Breach, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, along with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which together form a single binding agreement between you and us. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you should not use the website.
Daily Breach is a cyber security news and analysis platform. It is started as an initiative by students of the Master in Cyber Law and Information Security programme at National Law Institute University, Bhopal. However, Daily Breach is an independent platform. It is not an official website, project, publication or communication channel of National Law Institute University, Bhopal or any of its departments, centres or authorities. The University does not control, sponsor, monitor or endorse the content on Daily Breach and bears no responsibility or liability for it.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By visiting, accessing, browsing or otherwise using Daily Breach in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations while using the website. If you are using Daily Breach on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms and Conditions. In that case, your acceptance will be treated as acceptance on behalf of that organisation.
3. Eligibility
You should be at least eighteen years of age and capable of entering into a valid contract under Indian law in order to use Daily Breach independently. If you are below eighteen years of age, you should use the website only under the supervision of a parent or lawful guardian. Such parent or guardian should accept these Terms and Conditions on your behalf and will be responsible for your use of the website.
4. Nature of the platform and services
Daily Breach provides news, explainers, reports, opinion pieces, analysis and other informational content relating to cyber security, data protection, cyber crime, technology regulation, policy developments and related issues. Content is provided for general information, academic interest and awareness. Daily Breach does not operate as a law firm, consultancy, advisory or professional service provider. Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice, professional advice or any form of expert opinion tailored to your specific situation.
You should not rely on any content from Daily Breach as a substitute for independent legal, technical or professional advice. Before taking any decision or action that may have legal or technical consequences, you should consult a qualified advocate, cyber security professional, chartered accountant or other competent advisor.
5. Independent status and institutional independence
Daily Breach is conceptualised and operated as a student led initiative. It is independent from National Law Institute University, Bhopal. References to NLIU, Bhopal or its programmes are only descriptive of the academic background of certain contributors. No content on Daily Breach should be treated as a statement, policy, recommendation or official communication of National Law Institute University, Bhopal or any of its officers, faculty members, centres or bodies.
6. Changes to these Terms and to the website
We may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes may be required due to legal developments, updates in technology, changes in features or editorial policies, or for operational reasons. The updated Terms and Conditions will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of Daily Breach after any such changes will be treated as your acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the website at any time. This may include removal of content, change in design, introduction or withdrawal of features or temporary shutdowns for maintenance or security reasons.
7. User responsibilities and acceptable use

At present, Daily Breach may not require user registration for reading content. The Privacy Policy is prepared keeping in view the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
